The Biltmore House in Asheville, NC also provides a trial system meandering throughout the lovely estate. Great Smoky Mountain National Park has over 800 miles of riding and walking trails.
Fox Hunting is a old tradition in these rolling hills and there are two active clubs - The Tryon Hounds and the Green Creek Hounds.
Shows and exhibitions are held at either FENCE Equine Center or Harmon Field. FENCE has three all weather rings (two are lighted) and two training / warm up rings. The facility also has 200 permanent stalls. Harmon Field has three rings and 145 permanent stalls.
